Students learn by doing, and special programs offer students the ability to follow their passions, participate in authentic work, and be curious about the world around them. By exploring subjects outside of core coursework, students can gain a new perspective on future academic and career possibilities, learn about the world and more about themselves.

Excel Academy views explorations as a vital part of learning, designed to spark curiosity and connect classroom concepts to real-world experiences through hands-on, inquiry-based activities.
Learning Buddies
Excel Academy’s cross-age Learning Buddies Program is a cooperative cross-grade model that pairs younger-student classrooms with older-student classrooms with reading time and projects completed together.
